SOLD RANDALL MADE. FLA. "MODEL #1-8".

The Randall knife that made Randall Made Knives world famous, with a pedigree going back to WW2. Although classically the blade on this model is 7 inches, this particular knife has the 8 inch blade option (when you go 'in harm's way' I guess every inch counts !!). All the classic features are here, with the brass guard and duralumin butt cap securing the leather washer handle and, of course, the red-white-blue-white-red spacers. The blade is, again, classic being made from 01 carbon Tool steel, and although the finish is perhaps a little shinier than usual and shows a few 'micro' scratches commensurate with it's age, overall this is a lovely example of an Iconic knife.

SOLD RANDALL MADE. FLA. "MODEL #25-5 TRAPPER".

One of my favourite Randall Models, this particular #25 Trapper is the 5 inch version, which I feel gives a more balanced look than the 6 inch version. With the classic 'leather/stag/leather' handle paying homage to hunting knives from the 1930's it is easy to see why this knife is just as home in the US woods as it is in a display cabinet. The steel is 01 carbon Tool steel, a staple of Randall Made Knives. Complete with its original sheath, which is unique to the #25 model.

A stunning looking example of this model, which is based on the Randall Anniversary Knife. This particular version has the #25 handle configuration (leather/polished Stag/leather) with a brass guard and buttcap. 01 carbon steel. Complete with original sheath.

Surely the "Jewel in the Crown" of Randall Knives ! A simply stunning tribute to the Bowie used by Alan Ladd in the film "The Iron Mistress" and similar to the example on display in the famous Smithsoniam Museum in America. This Randall version has a few non-standard options with its forward curve n/silver hilt, black micarta handle and duralumin 'Coolie cap' butt cap. Blade: 11 inches. Oal: 16-1/2 inches. Complete with original black leather Model A sheath, with stone. Available now -  beat the 5-6 year wait !!   Mint, unused condition. 

RANDALL MADE. FLA. "MODEL # 14 & #14 Miniature"

A classic Randall military model, the model 14 "Attack" is instantly recognisable with its finger grip black micarta handle. This example has the bonus of being in stainless steel. Complete with Model C sheath.

Accompanied by the now discontinued miniature model of the same knife. This is an extraordinary piece of knifemaking by Randall - an exact scaled down version of its 'big brother' even down to its sheath. This pair would be a great addition to a Randall Collection. ( badge not included )

The Randall knife that went into space! As NASA resides in Florida, it is no surprise they approached Randall for the knife carried by the astronauts on America's first manned space flight. Rarely seen in this country, the Astro has removable handle scales to reveal a hollowed out compartment for survival gear. This knife has a Johnson 'Rough Back' sheath, with a Grey sharpening stone which dates it to around the mid-1970's.

A favourite model of mine, this particular example has been made in the same specification as Bo suggested to the famed wilderness expert and writer, Bradford Angier, who wanted a knife to carry on his backpacking hikes into the wilderness. The 6" blade is stainless steel with a nickel silver hilt, black micarta handle with a wrist thong and compass set into the butt. From the spacer arrangement, I would estimate that this knife was made in the 1970's. Complete with original Johnson 'Rough Back' sheath.  BOOK INCLUDED IN THE SALE
