No, this website is not changing !  However, over the years I have spoken to so many customers ( and friends ) at Shows to know that along with a passion for fine knives there is also a similar and shared interest in fine watches ( I have been told that another common interest is fine pens - but fortunately I have not been bitten by that particular bug ! ).

I intend to sell one or two watches from my own personal collection from time to time (pardon the pun) and will consider selling customers on a commission basis, if there is sufficient interest.

I hope you will enjoy perusing this page

For a long time this is the model of watch that Ray wore, although he is now a Rolex Sub. man. The actual version worn by Ray has since been discontinued by Citizen - and are now fetching a Premium price on the secondary market - but this is identical apart from the colouring, which is a nice shade of blue with a matching blue Kevlar strap. Powered by Citizen's 'Eco Drive' movement which does not need a battery and is charged by any form of light, natural or otherwise. Waterproof to a very respectable 300m and with superb lume to the hands and numerals, all housed in a titanium case, this is great watch at a great saving on the RRP.

I have worn this watch occassionally and apart from a very small scratch on one side of the case, it is in near mint condition. I am only selling it as SWMBO has invoked the "one in - one out" rule !  :-(

Excellent condition with box plus papers, with 4 years guarantee remaining.

WatchTime USA. "Feb.21 + Apr.21"

Excellent condition. £15 inc. UK p&p. ( both issues )

details added asap.

Excellent condition.

Having recently bought another watch, I'm sorry to say that the "One in - One Out" rule has, unfortunately, been invoked by "swmbo" !

This is a Chronograph watch by a brand that remains 'under the radar' of most of the public but is rich in heritage going back to 1912.

Since 1994, Fortis has been standard equipment for the Russian Aerospace Programme, and is also used by numerous flight squadrons.

I believe this particular version, with the ceramic bezel, has now been discontinued (?). I have worn this watch in rotation and as such, it is in excellent condition. I am also including a 'Nato' strap and the original (unworn) bracelet.  Super easy to read dial, with very good lume and orange hands on the subdials.

Excellent condition. New price - £1850 inc. UK p&p

I took this watch in as a part-trade as I love 'Dive Watches' - and the internal bezel on this in particular. As such, there are no box or papers. However, the watch keeps great time ( as you would expect ) and is in excellent condition apart from a mark on one of the lugs and a small "scuff" on the rear of the case ( no idea how you would manage to do that ?! ).

If you have ever fancied one of these superb watches, from a brand with a great history, and don't mind not having the full set, here is a chance to buy one at a much lower price than they are currently selling for.

Pre-owned in excellent condition.

New price - now £825 inc. UK p&p

This limited edition Samurai - along with it's companion Turtle - was only available to buy in Europe and quickly sold in in a little over 24 hrs. !! I was fortunate enough to buy one and upon receiving it, did not quite 'fall in love' with it, so stored it in my safe. As such, it is still brand new and in it's wrappers. Time to now move it on as I have my eye on another watch. These now seem to be selling for around the £600 mark but am offering mine for much less - for someone else to enjoy wearing or for investment potential.

A very nice example of this discontinued - and much admired - Dive watch series, before Omega went all "Co-Axial". With a stunning blue "wave" iradesant dial (which I think was the nicest dial option offered in this series) and amazingly bright luminous hands & markers ( you really do have to experience them to see how bright they are ! ) in a Titanium case, which makes the watch as 'light as a feather' to wear. This watch went back to Omega in November, 2018 for a full service ( at a cost of £410 ) and now has a 2 year warranty from that date.

Currently on an aftermarket rubber strap, with a deployant clasp, but the original titanium bracelet is also included. This watch was bought by me from a High Street Omega Dealer, who did not have the box & papers ( I presume they took the watch in as a part-ex ) but they did include a brand new style wooden Omega box ( which is a sight to behold ! ). Excellent condition - except the bezel insert does have a few light scratches, which are only visible only at certain angles.

Fully Serviced by Omega in Nov. 2018 (service papers included).

SOLD GLYCINE "STRATOFORTE- Automatic Chronograph".

Another example of this very high quality but now discontinued watch from Glycine, with the excellent Valjoux 7750 movement inside - which can be seen through the exhibition back ( an extra cost option on this model ). The sharp eyed among you will have noticed that the two sub dials are 30 mins & 12 hrs - the two most useful in my opinion. The small seconds only real purpose is to show the watch is running as any timings requiring seconds can be done by the stop watch.

This watch was bought by me, brand new, from a Dealer in Germany and is in "as new" condition, having been worn in rotation. The watch still has 9 months Factory Guarantee outstanding and the only reason I am selling it is because I acquired yet another watch over Christmas - and so the rule of "one in - one out" has been imposed on me again! As you may know, I recently sold another of these great watches and regetted it, so when I had the chance to buy this version with the spectacular "sun burst" blue dial, I could not resist. With a matching blue leather strap, I'm sure whoever buys this watch will not be disappointed.

The size is 46mm but does appear to wear smaller. Complete with Inner & Outer boxes plus guarantee card.

I will ( reluctantly) accept £975 inc. UK p&p for this watch, having originally paid £1325. ( as before, these watches offer a lot for the money - if it had Breitling or IWC on the dial, they would be much dearer ! )

This watch is now discontinued in this format by Bremont, which is a shame as the attention to detail on the blue dial is excellent indeed.

All the usual 'dive features' ( including a luminous bezel ) plus a day/date function makes this a very useful everyday watch. 43mm size, with a very comfortable rubber strap.

Bought new in June 2018 from my local Bremont Dealer, so still under warrenty with Bremont. I am only selling because I am buying a Grand Seiko and have been told by "SWMBO" that I have too many watches, so it is now "one in - one out"! I have only worn this sparingly, so it is still in mint, unmarked condition.

SOLD EBEL. "1911 DISCOVERY"- Chronograph AND Chronometer.

SOLD SINN.GERMANY. "104 Pilots - Vintage Leather".

SOLD SEIKO "ALPINIST".  Japanese import - automatic movement (not quartz ). This watch is not available in the UK and was purchased recently in Japan.  Really impressive looking 39mm watch with a gorgeous, green iridescent dial set off by gold indexes.  Waterproof to 20bar (screw down crown) and with an internal compass setting. Brown leather strap with a pin buckle. Excellent quality. Stand out from the crowd and wear something different !

Brand new (May 2015), boxed, with all papers.

OMEGA - Planet Ocean. 42mm.  In my opinion, one of the Classic Dive watches ! Part of the Seamaster range, this is the very latest version with the updated co-axial 8500 movement - which comes with a 4 year (!!) guarantee from Omega. The Planet Ocean is the watch worn by Daniel Craig as James Bond but this particular version has the orange digits with complimentary stitching on the rubber deployment strap - making for a very attractive and striking combination. This watch has all the correct boxes and cards and was registered in DEC. 2013 - meaning it still has over 3 1/2 years of warranty left. Condition is 99% mint with only just a very slight mark on the case - unobtrusive to the naked eye.

SOLD TAG HEUER PROFESSIONAL 2000. Another discontinued model, this time by Tag. According to the Jewellers receipt that came with the watch, it dates to around 1999. Despite that, it is in excellent, near mint condition with just a few light "desk swirls" on the bracelet. Both the case and glass are unmarked and the bezel is nice and positive. There are a few extra links for the bracelet also included. Unfortunately, it does not have the outer box but does have the original zip case.

This is the Quartz version and it has had a new battery fitted in the last couple of months but not by me, so I cannot guarantee it was pressure tested ?

The size across, including crown is 42mm ( but the watch wears a lot smaller. I believe this is the mid-size version ? )

I bought this to wear as my everyday "work" watch but never wore it as I fell in love with ( and bought ! ) a Bremont Solo, which now happily accompanies me on a daily basis.

SOLD BREITLING "SUPEROCEAN HERITAGE". Another superb watch that is spending too much time on my watchwinder. This is the 42mm version (which I prefer over the much larger 46mm) and with the Mesh bracelet, looks good whether worn casual or for the office - I think the blue bezel makes the watch look a little less "macho" and with the white/silver dial, makes for a stunning combination that is bound to attract compliments ! I am the second owner of this watch and like the previous owner (a jeweller) only wore it occassionally, hence it is near mint condition. Also included is a genuine Breitling leather strap which has not been worn by me but seems to have had very light use by the previous owner. Complete with everything it should have. All in all, a great package at a big saving on the current list price.

SOLD OMEGA SEAMASTER PRO. 300 GMT  This now discontinued chronometer is known affectionately as "The Great White" and is perhaps the most desirable of this model. I bought this model from America and have since had it serviced by Swiss Time Services ( an approved Omega Service Centre ), in Essex. It is now in absolutely mint condition with 18 months of STS guarantee still valid. I have replaced the bracelet, which is included, and the watch now wears a Hirsch Sharkskin leather strap ( well, what else could you put on a Great White ! ). The watch comes with the red box and all cards, all in excellent condition. I have only worn this watch occasionaly and it is in near new condition.

Those of you who have bought of me before know that anything from my own personal collection is of the highest order and this watch is no exception.
